Tim was born 1973 in Memphis, Tenn. He grew up rarely missing a church service. Tim's parents, Roy and Joy Wiseman, were faithful workers in the body of Christ. Tim remembers many occasions when his parents would bring strangers into their home to feed and give a bed to sleep in for the night. "I can't remember taking too many trips with my parents without us stopping on the side of the road to pick up a hitch hiker", Tim recalls. "My parents taught my brother and me to give of ourselves to others who are in need. They were truly the greatest servants I have ever known."
Tim has served in full time ministry since 1996. Tim's first staff position as Worship Pastor, was at New Life Worship Center in Waxahachie, Texas under Pastor Edwin Lipsey. Since then he has served in almost every area in a church that one can serve in. Tim has a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Southwestern Assembly of God University.
In 2003, while serving on staff at a church in Mesquite, Texas, Tim founded an outreach team to go into areas where homeless people live. "The objective was to go in and love on them. I wanted to form the greatest group of musicians and singers I could to bring our very best", Tim said. The outreach team later became known as White Chocolate because of the style of music they were playing. After years of seeing many men and women give their heart to the Lord, but remain in the same condition, Tim grew increasing frustrated. "When we would go into these areas where needy people lived, we would see the same people, doing the same things. No discipleship. No change. No connection. After a few years I decided that something had to change," said Tim.
In July 2008 and now living in Longview, Texas, Tim and Misty began taking homeless men off the streets and into their home to disciple them and give them the opportunity to change. Within a few weeks, their living room would become a dormitory with five to six guys living there. Soon after Tim rented a house and put the men into it. It immediately filled up to 12 men. So he took a huge step of faith and began renting another house. It immediately grew to 20 men. In 2009, Tim founded Wiseman Ministries, Inc. a non-profit 501-C3 ministry. February 2010, Wiseman Ministries purchased the former Welch Funeral home; a 12,000 facility that could house all the men and allow for more ministry opportunities. "Every day is a miracle. Only God could have brought us this far", said Tim.
